چکیده
The goal of this study was to investigate the influence ceramic translucency, restoration type and polymerization time on relative degree conversion a dual-curing resin cement conventional microhybrid composite using high-power light-curing device. Two 4.0 mm thick onlay (O) two 7.5 endocrown (E) lithium disilicate restorations in high low translucency (HT/LT) were fabricated decapitated molar. pulp chamber prepared accommodate 2 layer (MHC) or (DCC). Composite specimens light-cured (n = 15; 1200 mW/cm2) without through an restoration. Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) absorbance curves collected for same specimen after 3 × 20, 40, 60 90 s light-curing. (DC%) calculated results analyzed Kruskal-Wallis test Friedman's ANOVA. Alpha set at 0.05. After s, DC MHC significantly lower (p 0.03; r 0.61) under LT/EC (Mdn: 77.8%) than HT/EC 95.2%). DCC not affected by type. had significant higher HT/O, LT/O HT/E restorations. There no differences between cured LT/E 60s polymerization, but different translucent onlays. use bonding onlays endocrowns seems feasible.

The Effect of Lithium Disilicate Ceramic Thickness and Translucency on Shear Bond Strength of Light-cured Resin Cement
Introduction: To achieve acceptable clinical performance, a ceramic veneer must be bonded to enamel by well-polymerized resin cement. Among different factors, thickness and translucency of the ceramic may affect the resin cement polymerization. Thus, the current study evaluated the effect of the thickness and translucency of lithium disilicate ceramic on light-cured resin cement bond strength t...

OBJECTIVE Due to increasing of aesthetic demand, ceramic crowns are widely used in different situations. However, to obtain long-term prognosis of restorations, a good conversion of resin cement is necessary. To evaluate the degree of conversion (DC) of one light-cure and two dual-cure resin cements under a simulated clinical cementation of ceramic crowns. MATERIAL AND METHODS Prepared teeth ...
